Email REVIEW OF AUTHOR VISITS from Headteacher: 04 July 2012

Dear Jane,

I would like to ask Jack Trelawny to visit our school in Derbyshire on 9th or 10th October.

He did visit about 2 years ago and inspired our pupils.

We would very much like the chance for him to inspire our next generation!

Many thanks,

Jane Moore

Email REVIEW OF VISIT from Headteacher: 09 October 2012

Dear Ms Bennett,

Today we had a visit from Jack Trelawny and felt that I must e-mail some comments to you.

We have been reading Jack's first book Crystal Pool, as a class reading book for a class of Y3 - Y6 pupils in our small village primary school.

The book appeals to all the year groups and they are great for a class story as each small chapter leaves the children begging for more!

Following the class story - the children were sooooo excited about Jack's visit!

So were the parents - many of whom wanted a signed copy for Christmas presents.

Jack inspired our children - I can't remember so many children wanting to write a story when they went home - he gave them the ideas to work with.

Many thanks.
