School Author Visit Classroom Workshops

Below are some images showing what happens during a Jack Trelawny My Story House Classroom Workshop (for classes of up to 35 children in Years 3-6).

Jack uses his Storyboards (e.g. 'Dog in Danger') with his My Story House template and the children can usually be guided to create a complete story plan in a single 45-50 minute class session.

Class and smaller group workshops using Jack Trelawny's My Story House writing system

Jack Trelawny's 'My Story House'
The 'house' starts simply for younger children, with four 'W' Rooms.

It then builds into a complete system which older children can use as a template to both construct new stories and deconstruct existing texts.
